Chameleon Wins Interactive Media Award
My Fundraising, the site we designed for UNICEF UK that has so far raised more than £350K, achieved further success last week, winning an Outstanding Achievement award in the 2011 Interactive Media Awards.
The Interactive Media Awards recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development worldwide. The My Fundraising site (fundraise.unicef.org.uk) was judged for its design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance, and cross-browser compatibility. It excelled across all areas, scoring a minimum of 92 out of 100 in each category.
Louise Ryan, one of the Chameleon team who created the site, says, "as this is a fundraising site for individuals’ events, we had to create a user experience that would compel supporters to use UNICEF’s own branded site rather than choosing more established third party fundraising platforms. So it’s fantastic to have the recognition of an industry award to give the site an official stamp of approval."
